Natalia Vorishkova

Mize did a nice job reproducing Natalia's face from her portrait in the Black Box, but his choice of clothing style didn't quite fit with my image of her. Natalia has always been described as wearing clothes that allow for freedom of movement or ease of removal, so a full-length skirt (even a split one), a top with tight sleeves, and a laced corset seem like an unlikely choice for her! The clothing of the young woman in the Greater Wolfwere set actually seems to be a slightly better choice, at least for the top. Also, Natalia's pose is not overly interesting to me-- it seems to be one of the stock poses shown by Yet Another Mize Babe (and you'll see that term come up a fair bit in other pages here...).

No special comments about painting her here, though I must say I was glad to bring out the relatively heavy eyebrows without making them look too thick or exaggerated. A brown color scheme seemed to fit her taste for the outdoors.
